Mr. Lutz's Art students participated in Disneyland's Youth Education Series "Animation Magic" program, some on June 2nd, some on June 3rd. The program, through Disney's California Adventure Park, was led and taught by several Disney facilitators. Students discovered and learned about the history, creativity and innovation of the animation process and how the vision of Walt Disney influenced the history of animation. Students had the opportunity to create kineographs, plan and design their own storyboards, and explored their own creativity. They also discussed, observed, and participated in character development at the Animation Academy, and saw how technology has greatly influenced animation today. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
